More Than Sex
I always thought sex was about attraction, chemistry and wanting someone physically.
I thought it was about satisfying the body and doing all these things that come with being intimate with someone.
But as I got older,
I experienced it for myself,
And I finally understood how intimacy can be so much more than just sex.
It’s yearning for someone’s soul rather than just their body.
It’s not expecting perfection,
But instead being able to see someone’s flaws and still find them so right.
What I Thought Sex Was About
I used to think knowing what to do in bed was the most important part.
But I was wrong.
Anyone can have sex.
Anyone can know how to please someone physically.
Anyone can call themselves a fuck boy or a pro in bed and be proud of it.
But making love isn't the same as knowing how to have sex.
To me, it requires something more.
Beyond The Physical
I've come to see intimacy as something sacred, especially in marriage.
It's a gift that allows two people to give themselves to each other in a way that goes far beyond the physical.
It was a feeling I had never experienced in any intimate moment before.
And for the first time, intimacy felt like more than two bodies coming together.
It felt like my soul was reaching for his.
I could let go of myself completely, not just physically, but emotionally too.
I could surrender into the moment and be completely vulnerable, wrapped around him with all that I am.
No holding back. No trying to be anything other than myself.
Just me, imperfect and completely seen.
And I think that's what made it different for me.
It wasn’t about being the best
It wasn’t about knowing exactly what to do.
It was about feeling safe enough to give someone more than your body.
To give them the parts of you that can’t be touched.
That, to me, is what makes intimacy more than just sex.
